Terms of Service

By creating a DhanSafe account, accessing the app, or using any service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use DhanSafe.

DhanSafe ("we", "us") provides:

• A digital vault to store and organise financial documents (insurance, banking, investments, EPF, property).
• AI-assisted document extraction with human expert review.
• A Readiness Score with auto-nudges for nominee gaps and KYC issues.
• Aadhaar-verified family member access.
• End-to-end claim recovery service across Indian financial institutions.

What we are not: we are not a bank, insurer, mutual fund distributor, RIA, or financial advisor. We do not sell financial products and do not earn commissions.

• You must be 18 years or older.
• You must have an Indian PAN, or be an NRI with Indian financial assets.
• You must agree to identity verification through OTP and Aadhaar (where applicable).
• You must not be barred from using our service under Indian law.

4.1 Single-user accounts

Each membership is for one principal user. You may invite up to 5 family members with read-only access, verified via Aadhaar OTP. We may, at our discretion, allow additional members for an additional fee.

4.2 Account security

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access.

• Annual membership: ₹2,499 + GST as applicable.
• The fee is for 12 months from your activation date.
• Renewal is opt-in; we will email a reminder 14 days before expiry.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by Indian consumer law.
• Cancellation: at any time. You retain access until the end of your paid term and can export your data anytime.
• Pricing changes apply only to new terms, never mid-cycle.

By initiating a claim recovery, you grant DhanSafe a limited, revocable mandate to:

• Communicate with banks, insurers, AMCs, EPFO, registrars, and other Indian financial institutions on your or your family's behalf.
• Prepare, submit, and follow up on claim documents.
• Collect on-account amounts as instructed, with funds disbursed directly to your designated bank account.

You may revoke this authority at any time in writing. We do not collect funds on your behalf into our own accounts.

• Provide accurate information and authentic documents.
• Keep your nominee details and KYC up to date.
• Inform us of material changes (death of a nominee, change of address, name updates).
• Use the service only for your own assets, or with explicit authority from the owner.

You may not:

• Use DhanSafe to commit fraud, money laundering, or any illegal act.
• Upload documents you have no right to.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code.
• Scrape, replicate, or rebrand any part of the service.
• Impersonate any individual or share your account credentials.

The DhanSafe trademark, logo, software, content and design are owned by WealthGuard Global LLP. You retain ownership of all documents and data you upload. We claim no rights over your content beyond what is needed to provide the service.

The service is provided on an "as-is, as-available" basis. While we work to deliver our 30-day claim recovery promise, we cannot control institutional response times in all cases.

• The Readiness Score is informational, not a regulatory or legal guarantee.
• Document extraction is AI-assisted; you should verify critical details.
• We do not provide investment, legal or tax advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, DhanSafe's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service shall be limited to the membership fee paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of expected recovery amounts.

You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or remain unpaid for 30 days after expiry. On termination, you can export your data within 30 days; after that, we delete it (subject to retention obligations under Indian law).

• These Terms are governed by Indian law.
• Any dispute shall first be referred to our Grievance Officer (service@dhansafe.com).
• Unresolved disputes shall be subject to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with venue in Bengaluru.
• Courts at Bengaluru shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
